A company from nothing, a crew across the country, and how you make money once you are there.
Two men to a room, a kitchen six can cook in, forty minutes from the gate.
Two days at Data Centre World, and the question nobody on stage could answer.
Three days where the industry talks in megawatts. The best half hour was about concrete.
Europe's data centres have more money than hands, and everyone building them knows it. My work has followed that build wherever it goes. I started in the UK, ran my own crews in London, then moved into data centres: as Commercial Director at AAC Group I set up companies in Germany, the Netherlands and Finland, so Romanian crews are employed locally, housed properly, and kept on site for twelve months rather than six weeks. Frankfurt, Dietzenbach, The Hague, Helsinki. I know the compliance, the cost and the people in each market, and wherever the next data centre breaks ground, that is where we go.
That experience now runs through my own company, RTB Workforce, built on the same model across Europe, and I intend to make it a European name.
